United States Special Operations Command is using this Request for Information to shape its acquisition strategy for SOF Enterprise Professional Services (SEPS) II, an anticipated Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside, single-award IDIQ contract. The current SEPS contract concludes May 16, 2027.
The planned five-year, labor-hour contract has an estimated ceiling of approximately $250 million and would support systems engineering, test and evaluation, data science, artificial intelligence and machine learning, and technical documentation. Work would primarily be performed onsite at MacDill Air Force Base and support USSOCOM headquarters, its components, Joint Special Operations Command, and Theater Special Operations Commands.
Why contractors are watching: SEPS II combines a substantial estimated ceiling with long-term knowledge-based services demand. Eligible SDVOSBs will need a Top Secret facility clearance, strong OCI planning, and the ability to support onsite work and task-order surge requirements.
The U.S. Air Force Point Defense Battle Lab is maintaining a continuously active Request for Information for counter-small unmanned aircraft system and small unmanned aircraft system integration, development, training, and sustainment solutions.
The Air Force is seeking technologies that can detect, track, classify, intercept, and help neutralize Group 1-3 unmanned aircraft systems, including in extreme weather and GNSS-denied environments. Desired systems should be rapidly deployable, support multiple simultaneous threats, and integrate quickly with government-designated fire-control systems.
Why contractors are watching: The RFI creates recurring opportunities for both small and large businesses to participate in monthly experimental exercises throughout 2026. Vendors with mature C-sUAS technology, documented test results, and rapid integration capabilities have a continuing path to engage.
The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground issued an open solicitation to acquire innovative commercial and research-and-development solutions across Army mission areas. The opportunity remains open indefinitely until canceled.
The solicitation spans eleven example areas, including intelligence and electronic warfare, tactical communications, ground combat systems, aviation, supply chain and logistics, and advanced manufacturing. Companies may respond to active capability gaps through a phased solution-brief and pitch process or to targeted Calls for Solutions posted through amendments.
