You don't have to start from scratch unless you want to. GovTribe AI offers several ways to create a file, depending on what you're working on.

Use a template
Choose a ready-made govcon template, tell AI what you're working on, and build your first draft.

Starting from Files?
After selecting a template or file type, choose whether to start a new chat or use an existing conversation. Describe what you want to create, then send your request.
02 / Make edits
A good first draft is just the beginning. With GovTribe AI, you can review a file alongside your chat, leave comments directly on the document, and ask AI to make changes.
You bring the expertise and feedback. GovTribe AI helps make the edits.
Review and revise a document alongside GovTribe AI
Open your draft. Select the file from your GovTribe AI conversation to review it beside the chat. You can also use the Open document pane pencil icon.
Mark what you'd like to change. Highlight text, leave a comment, or draw a box around an image, chart, or section. Explain what AI should do differently.
Send your feedback. Submit your comments in the chat so GovTribe AI can make the requested changes and provide an updated draft.
Review and repeat. Keep refining the file until you're happy with it, then download your finished version.
Tip: You don't have to mark up every change. You can also describe what you'd like in the chat, such as making a section shorter, updating a table, or revising the tone.
Be sure to review important requirements, figures, and details before using a final file.
03 / Your files
Your files are saved in GovTribe AI, so you can come back to a draft, continue a project, or share your work with your team.
Find a file
Open GovTribe AI → Files. Browse your library or search by filename to find what you need.
Stay organized
Create folders, favorite files you use often, and filter your library by file type or creator.
Work with your team
Your team can access shared workspace files. You can also share a conversation link for feedback.
GovTribe AI → Files
Need someone's feedback?
Open the GovTribe AI conversation connected to your file, select Share, and copy the conversation link. Your teammate can review the shared work and give you feedback.
A few tips before you dive in
Give AI a little context. Mention the opportunity, company, audience, or goal so the file fits what you're working on.
Don't worry about the first draft being perfect. Give feedback as you go and let GovTribe AI help you refine it.
Make the final call. Review the completed document before sharing or submitting it. Your experience and judgment still matter.
