Why we built GovTribe

(We thought govcon could be easier.)

In 2012, our founders were government contractors themselves. They spent too much time hunting for the information they needed to compete: who was buying, what work was coming up, and who already had it.

The tools out there felt expensive and hard to use. So they left their contracting jobs, paired their govcon experience with a love of tech, and built the tool they wished they had: GovTribe.

GovTribe quickly found a loyal following, and those users have helped shape it ever since. We listen closely to community feedback, which has helped us shape GovTribe into the best tool for real, everyday govcon work.

In 2021, GovTribe joined GovExec. Since then, we’ve brought GovExec’s proprietary buyer intelligence and government journalism into GovTribe, giving you better insights into government buyers, opportunities, and the market.

Today, GovTribe brings market intelligence, capture tools, and AI built for govcon together in one place.
