GovTribe AI is built for govcon. It can help you find opportunities, research buyers, evaluate bids, create files, and keep work moving without starting from scratch every time.

In this guide, we’ll walk through the main AI features in GovTribe, where to find them, and how to get started.

A quick note about AI credits

What uses credits: GovTribe AI chats, advanced AI tasks, creating and revising files, daily briefings, and automations.

What’s free: AI-generated summaries throughout the platform and chatting with our AI user guide.

Credits are included with current GovTribe plans. To check your balance, go to Settings → Account → Credits & usage. Account owners and admins can add more anytime.

Chat with GovTribe AI

Ask GovTribe AI just about anything related to your govcon work. It understands government contracting and can help you research, analyze information, make decisions, and figure out what to do next.

02 / Daily Briefing

Start your day with a Daily Briefing

Daily Briefing brings together updates and suggestions based on your work in GovTribe, so you can see what’s worth your attention without digging through everything yourself.

 

What you’ll see

A short summary, relevant topics, records to check out, and suggested next steps.

Where to find it

Open GovTribe AI → Daily Briefing. Select a suggested follow-up to dig deeper in a chat.

Turn on personalization first. In a GovTribe AI chat, select Tune (the sliders icon) → Memory & context, then turn on Access GovTribe Data.

Your briefing gets more helpful the more you use GovTribe. As you explore opportunities, manage pursuits, and work with GovTribe AI, it has more context to work with.

03 / Suggested prompts

Try a suggested prompt

Not sure what to ask? GovTribe offers suggested prompts in GovTribe AI and throughout the platform, so you don’t have to start with a blank chat.

In GovTribe AI

Open New Chat and look for recommended prompts under the composer. Select one to get started.

Throughout GovTribe

Look for the GovTribe AI button on supported records and search results. Choose a suggested action or ask your own question.

Tip: Select Use a skill in a chat for guided help with tasks like capture reviews, market research, and pricing.

04 / Files

Create and edit files with GovTribe AI

GovTribe AI can help you create and revise Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations. Start with a template, a blank file, or something you’re already working on.

Open GovTribe AI → Files and select Create file.

Choose a template or start from scratch, then describe what you’d like to create.

Review the draft, leave comments, and ask GovTribe AI to make changes until you’re happy with it.

05 / Automations

Set up automations in GovTribe AI

Have something you do over and over? Set it up as an automation, and GovTribe AI can handle the work on a schedule or when something changes.

Run on a schedule

Have GovTribe AI complete a task daily, weekly, or on another schedule you choose.

Run when something changes

Start work when a saved search gets new results, a record you’re watching changes, or a pipeline or pursuit updates.

Set up your first automation

Open GovTribe AI → Automations. Choose View templates for a starting point, or Create via chat to describe what you want to automate.

Choose a project, describe the work, and decide when it should run.

Review the setup, choose whether you want email updates, and save.

You can review active automations and past runs anytime from the Automations page.

06 / Connected work

Connect your files and tools

GovTribe AI can do more when it has the right context. Add your files or connect the tools your team already uses.

Add your files

Upload capability statements, past performance, solicitation documents, and other files you'd like GovTribe AI to use.

 

How to start

In a GovTribe AI chat, select Add Files or drag in a file. You can also upload and organize files from GovTribe AI → Files.

Connect your tools

Connect supported services like Google Drive, Gmail, SharePoint, and Outlook so GovTribe AI can work with information from them.

 

How to start

Open GovTribe AI → Connectors, choose a tool, select Connect, and follow the sign-in steps.

Tip: Available connections may vary by account. Use the plug button in a chat to choose which connected tools GovTribe AI uses.

A few tips before you dive in

Keep related work together. Use Projects in GovTribe AI to organize chats and automations by topic, customer, or opportunity.

Make it work your way. Use Tune in a chat to adjust response length and other preferences.

Check the details. Review important dates, requirements, and conclusions against the original records before making decisions.
