Washington Technology just released its annual list of the top 100 prime contractors in federal tech, ranked by FY24 contract awards. Here are five easy ways GovTribe can help you learn about these primes and improve your GovCon strategy. (Don’t have a GovTribe account? Start a free trial.)

5 easy ways to learn more about the top 100 contractors

To start, pick a contractor from the list that interests you. Then find their profile on GovTribe. (Just go to the navigation menu on the left of your screen, click Participants, click Vendors, search for your chosen contractor, and click their profile.)Top 100 Event 2025 Blog (1)Once you’re on the profile that interests you, you can easily:

1. Check out their awards
Head over to the AI Insights tab and click Research Awards. You’ll see what they’ve won, how much funding they got, who awarded it, and when. (Everything you need to get a handle on their past performance and spot potential future opportunities.)

2. Find the right people to talk to
Click on Industry Personas to get detailed profiles on the right people associated with the prime: past activity, current roles, contact info, and more. Great for outreach and relationship-building.

3. See primes they’ve worked with
Under Primes, you’ll find a list of other prime contractors they’ve worked with. This can help you find strong potential partners for your own efforts.

4. See subcontractors they’ve worked with
Click Subs to see which subcontractors they’ve used in the past. It’s useful for keeping an eye on the competition—or finding the right partner for your next project.

5. See which agencies are working with whom
Want to know which agencies are spending with which primes? Use funding reports to immediately surface potential partners based on where the actual dollars are flowing.
